Aesop Rind Concentrate Body Balm:
If you follow me on Instagram [@theskincareobsessive] you will most likely see this orange coloured tube featured very heavily in my posts, It's been a favourite of mine for many years now for the super fresh and zingy citrus scent and for its hydrating properties.
I am not a fan of body products that are tacky on the skin or take too long to absorb but this is the complete opposite, it absorbs beautifully and leaves my skin feeling moisturised without ever feeling greasy or feeling overly heavy.
The scent alone is what gets me every time, the blend of Pink Grapefruit, Orange Rind and Lemon Rind is beautiful and fresh, especially during the summertime [And in the wintertime to make it feel like summer].
Nécessaire The Body Exfoliator Bergamot:
There are many things I love about this body exfoliator from Nécessaire, I love that it comes in a tube purely for ease of use and how well it foams up with a loofah in the shower, it's also quite gentle on my skin whilst still giving it the exfoliation that it needs.
It contains Pumice and Bamboo Charcoal that work together to slough away dead skin cells whilst a blend of AHA's and BHA's [Glycolic, Lactic and Salicylic] work as chemical exfoliants to leave the skin smoother and brighter. I like to exfoliate my body a couple of times a week as I find it helps to keep the skin on my body smoother and more even-toned, it also helps my body lotions and oils absorb better.
Bergamot is one of my favourite scents and it really shines in this product.
*Frank Body Clean Deodorant: Unscented:
Deodorant is always a bit of a tricky item for me to find just the right one, luckily I have discovered this one from Frank Body. It's unscented and doesn't contain alcohol or aluminium and as it's suited for sensitive skin types, it works perfectly for me.
It doesn't irritate my underarms at all and never leaves any sort of white marks or residue on my skin, It's one of those products that I know I will always have a back up of as I know I can always fall back to it.
*Dermalogica Phyto Replenishing Body Oil:
For those times when I want to feel a bit more decadent and my skin needs an extra hit of moisture, I instantly reach for this body oil from Dermalogica. The thing I love most about it is that even though it's an oil and very nourishing it's super lightweight and absorbs beautifully into my skin.
The scent of this body oil is what makes me love it even more every time I use it, with notes of Bergamot, Neroli, Orange, Patchouli and Sandalwood. It also contains a blend of Antioxidants, Omega Fatty Acids, Linolenic and Oleic Acid as well as Vitamin E that all work together to hydrate, smooth and support the skin's lipid barrier.
I like using this oil either on its own or mixed into my body lotion for an extra hit of moisture.
Sukin Botanical Body Wash in Coconut & Pineapple:
If you were to look into my shower at any given time you would definitely find a Sukin body wash in there, I have a few of their different scents but the Coconut & Pineapple scent is my current favourite. I like the Sukin body washes in particular as they do foam up but never leave my skin feeling dry or tight afterwards.
It contains a blend of Jojoba, Avocado and Rosehip Oils that all contain moisturising properties alongside Aloe Vera which is well known for its calming benefits.
I really love the Sukin body washes as in my opinion are great value for money for the quality of the product and in Australia are very widely available to purchase, they will always be firm favourites in my routine.
