CeraVe Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser:

Cleansers are one of my favourite products to trial as I know from the first use whether or not I will like the product or not, When I first tried this cleanser I knew it would be a firm favourite. I have never actually used a cleanser like it before, it starts off as a cream consistency and once you add water it starts to foam up and although it foams it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight afterwards.

It's super gentle on my skin and as I don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis I find it does a really good job of removing any bits of makeup I have applied from the day, I like that I can really massage it into my skin for a thorough cleanse and it doesn't irritate my eyes which is a bonus for me.

As I use quite active serums and moisturisers sometimes I like to start with a gentle cleanser and although I have only been using this cleanser over the past week or so I can already see it being a mainstay in my routine.

Dermalogica PowerBright Dark Spot Serum:

You will be hearing me talk a lot about pigmentation in upcoming features as it is something that I am currently dealing with, when I turned thirty I started to notice changes in my skin and one of the major changes I noticed was the red marks left behind from previous breakouts.

This is one of Dermalogica's latest launches and I honestly felt like it came at just the right time, now I know that everyone's skin is different and everybody responds to things differently but after only a few days of using this product, I noticed a huge difference in my skin.

It immediately started to fade my post-inflammatory pigmentation and as I have continued to use it over the past month or so it has really helped to even out my skin tone and made my skin look and feel brighter. As regular readers will know I am already a huge fan of Dermalogica and this product has become a real favourite in my routine, I already plan on having a backup at all times as I never want to be without it.

Medik8 Sleep Glycolic:

Regular exfoliation forms a huge part of my skincare routine, especially now that I am in my thirties I find that my skin truly benefits from it. One of the latest additions to my routine is the Sleep Glycolic Time Release AHA Overnight At-Home Peel from Medik8. It contains 10% Encapsulated Glycolic Acid which helps to slough away dead skin cells which in turn helps with the overall texture and tone of your skin whilst with continued use will brighten your complexion.

The thing that intrigued me about this product was how you use it, you apply it after cleansing and toning and follow with your other serums and moisturisers. I like this option as when I use an at-home peel product like this one I like to follow up with hydrating products and this method makes it easy to do so.

I have found it to be really good at keeping the texture of my skin even as I do tend to struggle with texture irregularities and it has also helped with the overall clarity of my skin.

Editors note: When using exfoliating products it's always important to be wearing an SPF on a daily basis

Calecim Professional Pigment Solution:

As I am currently on a mission to try and fade my pigmentation I am constantly trialling and looking for products to help combat the issue, one of the products I have been using alongside my other pigmentation products is this serum from Calecim Professional.

The serum contains ingredients that help to target various stages of hyperpigmentation whilst also minimising the future possibility of the pigmentation returning with continued use.

The thing I love most about this product is whilst it has done a really great job at evening out my skin tone it has also been very gentle on my skin which as someone that has sensitive skin is always a welcome addition, this serum can be used morning and night and I personally use it at night after I have cleansed and toned and before my other products. As always I make sure to wear an SPF on a daily basis to protect my skin and also to prevent any pigmentation from forming.

Emma Lewisham Illuminating Brighten Your Day Crème:

Emma Lewisham is a brand that I have been lucky enough to of been introduced to over the past year or so and everything from the brand that I have tried I have loved having in my routine, the brands latest product is this illuminating cream which contains Vitamin C from Organic Acerola Extract alongside a blend of Ceramides and Hyaluronic Acid for added nourishment and hydration.

Vitamin C is one of my personal favourite skincare ingredients to use as it works well at brightening the skin and is also a great antioxidant that helps to protect against environmental stresses.

This glow-inducing moisturiser also contains a mixture of AHA's and BHA's that work to slough away dead skin cells which in turn help with the overall texture and tone of your skin and with continued use helps to brighten your complexion, ethically sourced Mica gives the skin an instant glow.

I love using this product in the morning as it gives my skin a beautiful glow which looks lovely on its own and forms a really beautiful base for makeup application.

As the brand focuses a lot on sustainability the product also is available in a refill pod meaning that you can keep the jar and when the product is empty you can just place the pod back into the packaging. This is something that I really appreciate and something that I will be focusing on and looking more into with my future product purchases.

Wrinkles Schminkles InfuseFAST Eye Smooth & Depuffing Mask:

My under-eye area has always been a bit of a problem area for me and especially as I am in my thirties now it's an area that I am starting to pay more attention to, as I have dark circles and fine lines around the area I am always looking for products to help combat these issues.

Eye masks have started to become mainstays in my beauty routine and the ones that I am currently loving are these ones from Wrinkles Schminkles.

I like using them before a big event or for those days when I am looking a tad more tired than normal and my skin needs a boost, these masks are really good at smoothing the under eye area whilst also keeping the area hydrated de-puffed. I have noticed lately that I sometimes wake up with red eyes and these contain ingredients that help to combat redness and I do find that they do a good job at soothing the area and making my eyes look a bit more refreshed. They form a really nice base for makeup application and work really well at giving my skin a boost when I need it.
