Over the past few months or so one of my biggest skin concerns has been pigmentation left behind from blemishes, I have been doing a lot of research on the causes and the best products to use to combat the issue. One of the products that kept popping up was this one from 111Skin.
I am not gonna lie, it was an investment buying this product as it is on the higher price scale but I have used products from the brand before and it's a brand that I really trust when it comes to skincare. I have loved everything I have tried from the range, I heard really great things about this product from customer reviews and finally bit the bullet and purchased it, and I am so glad I did.
As the name suggests it's a booster that can be either applied directly to the skin or mixed into other products like moisturiser, serum or foundation but I like to use it straight onto my skin after cleansing and toning.
It has made a huge difference to my skin, it has really helped to even the overall texture and tone of my skin and the pigmentation from my past breakouts is slowly starting to fade. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and have already seen a huge difference and I am really excited to keep using it to see continued results.
*Dermalogica Retinol Clearing Oil:
You know how you use a product that works so well for your skin and you honestly wonder what you did before you tried it? Well, that's how I feel about this product. It has done absolute wonders for my skin, as I am someone who is prone to breakouts it has really helped to keep them at bay and has also done an amazing job at keeping the overall texture and tone of my skin even.
It contains a blend of Retinol and Salicylic Acid which work together to target breakouts as well as fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation. I understand that everyone's skin is different and different people react to ingredients differently, my skin can sometimes be sensitive to Retinol but I find that as this product is in an oil base it never overly sensitizes my skin and my skin responds really well to it.
Speaking of oils it contains a blend of Argan, Rosehip Seed and Golden Jojoba Oils which all have nourishing properties to them. It's important to note that when using a product with Retinol to always use an SPF on a daily basis, I also personally only use it in my nighttime routine.
*Ultraceuticals Ultra Brightening Moisturiser Cream:
Ever since I started using Ultraceuticals products I have always been a huge fan of their Brightening Range, pigmentation is always something that is a bit of an issue with me as I am someone who has freckles my skin can sometimes become a bit blotchy and uneven, because of this I like to look for products with ingredients to combat those issues.
One of the latest additions to the brightening range is the Ultra Brightening Moisturiser Cream which contains a mixture of brightening and moisturising ingredients that help to brighten the skin and support the skins lipid barrier.
I have an oily-combination skin type and find that this moisturiser gives my skin the right amount of hydration without looking or feeling overly greasy, it also sits beautifully under my sunscreen and other products that follow.
Aesop Rind Concentrate Body Balm:
There are few non-negotiable beauty products in my life that I always have to have, one of those products is one of the Aesop Body Balms. I actually love all the scents in the range but one of my personal favourites is the Rind Concentrate Body Balm which has notes of Pink Grapefruit, Orange Rind and Lemon Rind.
Beyond smelling like a dream the lotion itself is very moisturising, I like that it gives my skin the hydration it needs without being overly greasy and it absorbs well into my skin.
I like having a few on the go, I have a tube by my desk, one in my bag and one in my bathroom.
Acqua Di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Bergamotto Eau De Toilette:
Those who know me know how obsessed I am with citrus scents, I have quite a few already in my collection but I am always on the hunt for ones to try. One of my latest obsessions is this scent from Acqua Di Parma, I have actually become quite obsessed with the brand lately as a lot of their scents appeal to me.
This scent is very fresh and citrusy and has been a real welcome addition to my fragrance wardrobe throughout the summer months, I especially like topping it up throughout the day and it instantly makes me feel refreshed.
Top Notes: Calabrian Bergamot DOP, Citron
Heart Notes: Cedarwood, Red Ginger
Base Notes: Vetiver, Benzoin, Musk
