ON ROTATION: FACE OILS.

Face oils are a really crucial part of my routine, they really help keep my skin balanced and always leave it dewy which is always a bonus in my books. There's a bit of a myth in the beauty world that oily skin folk shouldn't be using or are scared of using oils on their skin but the truth of the matter is your skin is producing too much oil because it hasn't gotten enough, it almost goes into survival mode and starts pumping out oil.

When your incorporate a face oil into your routine it tricks your skin into thinking that it has enough oil, therefore it balances out oil production.

Don't be afraid of the face oil, they do wonders for the skin.

Here are my current favourite face oils:

*Emma Hardie Brilliance Facial Oil: This oil contains Essential Oils, Plant Oils and Antioxidants that all help to hydrate and nourish the skin whilst promoting elasticity. The product also contains crucial antioxidants that helps our skin protect itself from free radical damage on a daily basis.
*Edible Beauty Snowflower Illuminating Facial Oil: Contains a combination of Snowflower Seed Oil and Kakadu Plum (Rich in Vitamin C) which help to boost collagen and brighten the skin. It also contains Emu Apple Seed Oil which contains antioxidant properties that help nourish and rejuvenate the complexion whilst Jojoba Seed Oil and Banksia Seed Oil calms down inflammation.
Aesop Fabulous Face Oil: Works really well at balancing and detoxifying the skin, gives good glow. It also absorbs really easily into the skin and sits beautifully under moisturiser and or SPF.
*Venustus Eternal Facial Serum: I love this serum for calming down any redness and inflammation on the skin, it has really helped with the little bumps I get on my jaw from shaving also. If you haven't tried any products from Venustus before I highly recommend their line.
*Go-To Skincare Face Hero: This contains Ten Plant and Nut Oils, Essential Fatty Acids, Vitamins and Antioxidants that work to hydrate, brighten and protect the skin. I use this at night either under moisturiser or no it's own and my skin always has a nice glow it in the morning, nothing to crazy just a nice almost lit from within glow.
*Sukin Supergreens Nourishing Chia Seed Oil+: Filled with Omegas 3 and 6, Essential Fatty Acids, Minerals, Amino Acids and Antioxidants which all work to hydrate, nourish and protect.
**Sunday Riley Artemis Hydro Active Cellular Face Oil: This is perfect for us oily / combination skin types as it contains ingredients that help to balance and detoxify the skin. It absorbs really quickly into the skin and helps to give the skin a glow, it also contains anti inflammatory properties.

Editors Note: Mix one drop of facial oil to your foundation to make it look more dewy.
