Face oils have become a bit of a main stay in my routine for the past few months now, there is a bit a beauty myth going around that oily skin folk like myself shouldn't use an oil but the truth of the matter is your skin produces oil because it hasn't got enough of it and almost goes into survival mode and starts pumping out more oil.

When you incorporate a face oil into your routine it almost tricks your skin into thinking that is has enough oil therefore it balances out your oil production, I have noticed a significant difference in my skin when using facial oils, my skin is a lot more balanced with a regular oil flow through my t-zone.

The latest facial oil to hit my beauty cupboard is the Fleuressence Native Botanical Cell Oil from GOLDFADEN MD.

The luscious oil contains ingredients like Baobab Oil which works to improve elasticity, regenerates and improves skin tone, Kalahari Oil contains essential fatty acids that work to moisturise, regenerate and restructure the skin, Marula Oil contains an Omega 9 fatty acid, Vitamin E and Flavonoids which all work together as antioxidants that help retain moisture, add hydration and protect the skin from environmental aggressors, Mongongo Oil works to hydrate, regenerate and contains restructuring properties, Rose Hip Seed Oil contains Vitamin A (Retinol) C and E with Omega's 3 and 6 essential fatty acids which all work to regenerate the skin and will help with the appearance of scars, wrinkles and skin tone.

I would recommend this oil for someone who wants to start getting into using a face oil as it's a bit thinner in consistency to other face oils that I have personally tried and it instantly absorbs into the skin, leaving it nourished. What I love about face oils is that they give you a glow but a glow that doesn't look greasy or too shiny, you look like your glowing from within.

With continuous use this oil will give the skin a glow, it will help to hydrate and nourish the skin while keeping it balanced and even toned. We are all exposed to things like air conditioning, pollution, heating, change of weather etc so it's important that we are nourishing our skin with antioxidants to help protect our skin from past and future damage.

I personally like using this product at night under my moisturiser and on top of a serum.
