"Skin graced by a velvety petal."

In an art gallery in Sydney L'Occitane showed the beauty media all of their new releases for the upcoming year, one of those lines was the Pivoine Sublime range which harnesses the power of the peony flower. It was introduced as a line that leaves skin looking velvety, and not that it contains any sort of coverage or anything but it is supposed to give your skin a more even complexion every time that you use it.

The line contains ingredients such as:

Peony Extract:
This will help with the texture of the skin.
Hyaluronic Acid:
Helps the skin bind onto to moisture, deeply hydrates and can hold up to 1000 times it's weight in water.
Horse Chestnut Extract:
Helps to give skin a glow, and we all love a glow don't we?
Mineral Based Pigments and Interferential Pearlizers:
Help to even out skin and give it a velvety glow.
Natural Powders:
Help to leave skin matte but with a nice sheen to it without making it look flat.

I have tried the moisturiser from the line which is beautiful, definitely gives skin a glow and smells really fresh. I have also tried the CC cream which doesn't have much of a tint but when applied seems to just even out the skin and make it luminous and the mist is great to use as a toner or sprayed over powder to stop it from looking cakey.
