As a beauty editor I'm always on the look out for something to add into my routine, and as like most of us in the beauty world I was introduced to the world of acid toning by skincare goddess Caroline Hirons.

If you want to talk acid toning then you definitely have to talk about Biologique Recherche P50, what it is is a liquid exfoliant, liquid exfoliants are classed as chemical exfoliants which apposed to exfoliants that have grains a chemical exfoliants contains acids (and don't worry they are made for the face) that will chemically dissolve the dead skin.

The lotion comes in three formulations:

P50:
Normal skin types.
P50V:
For mature skins.
P50W:
For sensitive skin.

The lotion slots into your skincare routine after your cleanser in the toning stage, what I like to do depending on how I'm feeling is use a mist toner on top or sometimes I just use it on its own to let the exfoliating acids do their thing it all just depends on how your skin is at the time and personal preference. Overtime the lotion will help your skin to renew itself, exfoliating regularly will help to give your skin a glow but also help the products you put on top to absorb better as the pores will be cleaned thoroughly.

I have seen a major reduction in breakouts and redness whilst using this product, it also helps your skin to retain it's glow which let's be honest who doesn't want that?

It contains acids such as:
Lactic Acid
Citric Acid
Malic Acid
Vinegar
