In The Mornings:

My morning skincare routine has pretty much stayed the same over the past few years, the brands I use may have changed as I am constantly trialling things to review but the ingredients I use typically stay the same. My morning skincare routine revolves around antioxidant protection and this normally comes in the form of a serum, the one that I have been using as of late is the Concentrated Illuminatior by Dr Natasha Cook.

I use this serum after I cleanse and tone in the morning and it absorbs beautifully into my skin and sits well with my other products, It contains a blend of 10% Vitamin B3 and 10% Vitamin C as well as Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides.

This serum helps to brighten your skin, provide antioxidant protection, adds hydration and also contains ingredients to fight breakouts as well as the marks they leave behind as it contains Vitamin B3 that has anti-inflammatory properties.

Using an antioxidant serum such as this one has done wonders for my skin over the years and it's a non-negotiable in my routine, in conjunction with wearing sunscreen on a daily basis I like knowing that my skin is protected from UV and also from environmental stresses.

In conjunction with this serum, if I have a breakout or I still have some post-inflammatory pigmentation leftover from a previous spot, I like to use the Concentrated Spot Destroyer. This product comes in the form of a rollerball that can be easily rolled onto any area of concern, it contains a blend of 28% Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids which work together to exfoliate and fight breakouts alongside pigmentation.

I like having a targeted product like this one in my routine as whilst I am now in my early thirties I do still suffer from the regular breakout and this product does wonders at clearing my spots up very quickly.

In The Evenings:

My evening skincare routine revolves around exfoliation, and as I am someone who likes to have many options in my beauty routine I incorporate exfoliating products in a couple of different ways. Once or twice a week after I cleanse I use the Concentrated Micropeel which contains a blend of 25% Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids and comes in the form of individual wipes that you wipe over your skin, even though I am a seasoned exfoliation user I definitely feel these going to work as soon as I apply it, and I mean that in the best way possible.

My skin responds really well to exfoliation and this product does an amazing job at smoothing the texture of my skin and keeping my breakouts at bay, it has done wonders at brightening my skin and as I have been using it on a consecutive basis it has also helped to fade some of my pigmentation.

I use this product one to two times a week and especially when I notice my skin is looking a bit dull or has some texture irregularities, it also helps the other product I use absorb a lot better.

On alternate evenings I use the Concentrated Clarifier which is a serum that contains a blend of 18% Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids [Lactic, Glycolic, Mandelic, Tartaric and Salicylic] that dissolves away dead skin cells and helps with anything from pigmentation and acne to general anti-ageing concerns.

This does an amazing job at keeping the overall texture and tone of my skin even whilst keeping my breakouts at bay, as I exfoliate often and have done for over seventeen years now my skin is pretty tolerant to exfoliating ingredients and my skin always responds really well to this serum. If I want to give my skin a bit of a boost ill also use this first and then the Concentrated Illuminator and follow up with my moisturiser.

If at night I also have a breakout that is quite persistent I will also use the Concentrated Spot Destroyer on the targeted area.

*Editors note: As I have spoken a lot about exfoliating products in this post, it's always important to be wearing an SPF on a daily basis no matter rain, hail or shine and whether you are indoors or outdoors.
