*NXT CHPTR F.01 Cleanser: I always get excited when a new local brand launches and NXT CHPTR is one of the latest additions to my beauty cupboard, as always whenever I start trialling a new range I always opt for the cleanser first and from the first use of using this cleanser from the brand I already knew I would love it.

It's a gel-based cleanser that has a slight lather to it but nothing overly drying, it rinses off really well and as I don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis it does do a good job of removing it. It contains one of my personal favourite skincare ingredients Lactic Acid which works as an exfoliant to gently slough away dead skin cells, this, in turn, helps with the overall texture and tone of your skin.

The brand only just recently launched and they have started out with their CHPTR 01 kit which consists of a cleanser, serum and moisturiser which is available now and the products will be available to purchase individually from the 10th of January 2022.

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Hydrating Multi-Protection Mist: If you know me you know how much I love a face mist, to me it's a non-negotiable in my routine. There was actually a point a few days ago where I was suprisingly out of face mist and I felt like my routine was all out of whack, you can use a mist in various different ways but the way that I use it the most is after cleansing morning and night before my serums.

I have used other products in the Hydra-Essentiel line from Clarins before and I have always liked the products, I really like this mist in particular as it does a really great job of adding a layer of hydration to my skin and perfectly preps my skin for my other products.

Whilst it contains ingredients to help keep your skin hydrated it also helps to protect from daily stresses such as blue light and pollution.

*Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Serum:  As I am now in my early thirties I have made more of an effort to start incorporating Retinol into my routine, I have tried a few different products with the highly sort after ingredient in it and one of my current favourites is this one from Murad. Sometimes you need to use a product consistently for a while to see any results but with this serum, I noticed results almost straight away, it has done an amazing job of keeping the overall texture and tone of my skin even. Even after I have washed my face the next day I can still feel how smooth the texture of my skin feels.

I love how lightweight it is and how beautifully it absorbs into my skin, I know different people can react to different things and my skin can sometimes be sensitive to Retinol but I haven't had any sort of sensitivity with this serum in particular. I have also found that it has helped to reduce some of my current breakouts and as I have some pigmentation leftover from past breakouts it has also helped to even that out, I have also used the moisturiser in this range and I love using them together.

*Editors note: When using a product with retinol it's always important to wear sunscreen on a daily basis to protect your skin.

Avène Tolerance Control Soothing Skin Recovery Cream: I was a huge fan of the Skin Recovery Cream from Avène so I am very excited to see that the product had been reformulated and since I have been using the newer version of it for a while now I can honestly say that like with most products from the Avène range, I am a huge fan.

The thing I love most about this moisturiser is that it's lightweight but still gives my skin enough hydration and absorbs well into my skin, as I use quite active serums it's sometimes nice to use a nourishing and soothing moisturiser on top of everything.

I trust Avène skincare products as they always work well for my sensitive skin.

*Dermalogica Clearing Defense SPF30: As I wear sunscreen on a daily basis not matter rain, hail or shine I truly know the importance of finding the right one for my skin type. I have an oily-combination skin type and don't like anything too heavy on my skin, I have been using this sunscreen from Dermalogica for the past couple of months or so and from the first use I already knew it would be a firm favourite.

It feels like a moisturiser and absorbs beautifully into my skin, it doesn't leave much of a white cast to my skin and sits well with my other products. It contains a blend of Willow Bark Extract, Green Tea Extract and Vitamin C which work together to fight breakouts and protect your skin from environmental stresses.

I like that with this product I am not only getting sun protection I am also getting skincare benefits and whilst I do suffer from breakouts on a regular basis I like knowing this has blemish-fighting properties in it, whilst never feeling drying or too heavy on my skin.
