I have been using face masks for quite some time now but it's only in the past couple of years or so where I have realised what an effect they have on the skin, and I have been using them consistently every week.

The latest mask to hit my ever growing collection is the Pure Renewing Mask from Mesoestetic, which is an exfoliating mask that is suited for those with blemish and seborrhoeic skin. The mask has a gritty like consistency to it, nothing to rough or anything but you can definitely feel the grains on your skin when you apply the mask, this helps to give your skin a bit of an exfoliation. Even if you have oily blemish prone skin it's important that it is gently exfoliated regularly as it help speed up skin renewal and also allow the products you apply absorb better, therefore working to there best ability, this mask in particular will help to control oil.

The mask contains something called the M.Acne Complex which is a combination of ingredients that help to fight the factors that causes blemishes and breakouts, it also contains Salicylic Acid which is my personal favourite blemish fighting ingredient as it helps to clean out the pore and prevent breakouts, Mandelic Acid and Sodium Lepargilate combined with Bexaretinyl allows the mask to deeply cleanse the skin and helps with the renewal of the skin.

The brand recommends applying an even layer of the mask on your face and leave on for 5-10 minutes and thoroughly rinse off, I like to rinse mine off in the shower or with a lukewarm flannel.
