Another Chapter, A New Fragrance.
Guerlain's perfumer Thierry Wasser has created a new eau de parfum for the house which breathes a new light on the original Shalimar fragrance with their new addition Shalimar Souffle De Parfum.
The fragrance is the perfect addition to any summer fragrance wardrobe, or winter wardrobe to remind you of summer, it contains sparkling citrus notes with sun drenched Bergamot, Lemon and Mandarin.
I love a good floral and this fragrance has a heart of Sambac Jasmine mixed with Orange Blossom to give it a floral hit, making it more sophisticated. The bottom notes being Vanilla gives it a roundness with a familiar note.
Fragrance to me is such a personal preference, I am a big fan of the powdery florals but I know that that's not for everyone, this latest addition from Guerlain is a lighter, fresher approach to the original fragrance.
