In honour of earth day this April (April 22nd) Kiehl's has decided to relaunch their eco loyalty recycling loyalty program and to celebrate they are offering their customers a limited edition pot of their famous Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask.

The mask itself is a deep pore cleansing mask that contains fairly traded amazonian white clay, which helps to draw impurities out from the skin and reduce pore size. It also contains oatmeal and aloe vera to protect the skin, I have reasonably sensitive skin so I always like to use products with oatmeal as it's quite a soothing ingredient.

I have used the mask a couple of times and I'm quite impressed with how clean my skin felt after the first use, and I could really see results even a few days after using it.

Cleansing make always help to clean out the pores which means the products you use on top absorb more rapidly into the the skin.

The program allows Kiehl's customers to return their empty product bottles, jars and tubes to their stand alone boutiques. Customers who return the empty products will receive complimentary products as a gesture for reclining their empty products.

Here are some stats from the program:

Since 2009, Kiehl’s has collected and recycled over 2,000,000 bottles, tubes and jars worldwide

The Recycle and Be Rewarded program is available in over 100 Kiehl’s boutiques across 5

continents

Kiehl’s has issued over 700,000 complimentary products exchanged for empties
