This is a bit of a cult product, and I now know why, the mask itself is a rose scented cream that when applied to the face you instantly see a smoothing and brightening effect, it feels like your skin has had a big drink of water.
The cream is rich in trace elements, vitamins and anti ageing ingredients to give your skin the boost it needs in 10-15 minutes. I tend to leave the mask on for as long as possible and then tissue of the excess to apply makeup ontop, I never rinse the mask off as I think it would be a waste and I want all of those anti ageing benefits soaking into my skin.
The mask is quite pricey but for me it really works and I would continue to purchase it as a nourishing anti ageing treatment, and for me sometimes I use it instead of a night cream so it’s kind of the best of both worlds. If I ever have a hangover or feel under the weather this the first mask that I apply, sometimes after a clarifying mask so that the mask can absorb better.
Sisley Express Flower Gel Mask:
Ever since one of my favourite bloggers Lisa Eldridge said that this the mask she wears on long haul flights for added hydration I have wanted it in my possession, and now I have it I don’t know how I ever lived without it.
It’s a clear gel that looks completely invisible to the naked eye but what it does is forms a hydrating barrier over the skin and refreshes skin like nothing else. It contains lily and iris which have water retaining properties and extracts of sesame which is rich in vitamin f from organic plants.
It smells amazing and is quite cooling to the touch which helps to calm down irritation, I use it on long car journeys or on planes instead of a moisturiser and if I need to re apply make up I just tissue off the excess.
It really works at hydrating and nourishing the skin, you see a difference after the first few minutes of use, a great one to apply when at your desk the keep you hydrated.
Sisley Eye Contour Mask:
I love an eye mask, I love any sort of skincare product formulated for the eye area, and I think I have found a new favourite in the eye contour mask from sisley. It’s a lightweight cooling gel that you apply to the eye area that aims to reduce fine lines and puffiness, dark circles and completely smooths out your eye area, for me after the first use I noticed a huge difference in the lines under my eye area so bonus.
The product contains extracts of gingko biloba which has anti free radical properties, arnica helps to stimulate the eye area, horse chestnut de puffs, marshmallow softens, linden offers anti free radical properties.
If I’m just around the house writing posts I leave the mask on instead of my eye cream, then when I’m ready to put concealer on I tissue off the excsess.
Sisley Sisleyum For Men:
I think that it can be hard for some men with skincare routines, especially when it comes to products feeling heavy or not absorbing readily and leaving a film. Sisley have created a moisturiser that aims to address all the needs of a mans skin, it soothes the skin while remaining matte with no residue and absorbs instantly.
It contains 18 natural ingredients, including botanical and essential oils that work together to firm the skin, lessen the signs of fine lines and wrinkles and leaves the skin matte and nourished day after day.
As much as I love skincare I hate the feeling of it sitting on my skin, this cream absorbs instantly and leaves you glowing not shiny, if that makes sense, beauty addicts get it.
The cream is more at the luxurious end of the price scale but I personally noticed a difference in my skin the next morning, and for someone who is constantly trying new products that is a pretty big deal.
