Alpha-H Melting Moment Cleansing Balm: As soon as I saw this being launched I purchased it straight away and from the first use of it I already knew it would be a firm favourite, I am quite fussy when it comes to cleansing balms, they have to immediately melt when I apply them to my skin and easily rinse off with water and this one ticks all my boxes.

It has quite a jelly based texture to it that once applied to the skin immediately turns into an oil and dissolve away all my makeup, sunscreen and any built-up dirt and oil from the day. Once I add water to my skin it straight away turns into a milk and easily rinses away without leaving any sort of film or residue behind.

Another thing I love is that it doesn't sting my eyes which can normally be the case with other oil or balm products. I have only been using this cleanser for the past few weeks but I already know it is one that I will continue to repurchase.

*Dermalogica Daily Glycolic Cleanser: I have been a huge fan of Dermalogica cleansers for many years now, I feel like it's a category of skincare product that they do really well. It's safe to say I will like any cleanser that they come out with and their latest launch, the Glycolic Cleanser has already become a firm favourite from practically the first use.

It's a gel-based cleanser that does foam but it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight afterwards, I like that it's quite a thick gel consistency so I can really work it into my skin, whenever I use a cleanser with exfoliating properties I like to leave it on my skin for a few minutes to reap all the benefits from it.

The Glycolic Acid in this product works to gently dissolve away dead skin cells which in turn helps to brighten and even the overall texture and tone of your skin, it also contains a blend of ingredients to maintain the skins lipid barrier and keep it nourished, I would use this cleanser in the morning but also as a second cleanser after I have removed my makeup at night.

*Dr Natash Cook Concentrated Clarifier: My skin is a skin type that benefits from regular exfoliation and the way that I have been incorporating an exfoliant into my skincare routine is by using this serum from Dr Natasha Cook, it can be used twice a day but I tend to use it more in the evenings after I have cleansed and toned as my night time resurfacing product. I mention this a lot on this site but I do suffer from breakout-prone skin and using a product such as this one on a regular basis has made a huge difference to the overall appearance of my skin. It contains a blend of 18% Alpha & Beta Hydroxy Acids which work to dissolve away dead skin cells which in turn helps with everything from breakouts to pigmentation to general anti-aging concerns.

This serum has helped to keep my breakouts at bay whilst keeping the overall texture and tone of my skin even, it can sometimes take a long time to see a difference when using a new product but with this product in particular I saw results in my skin after only a few days of use.

*Editors note: Whenever using any sort of product with exfoliating ingredients it's always important to wear SPF on a daily basis to protect your skin.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Liquid Makeup: I have always been a huge fan of Clinique foundations, they are actually one of my favourite foundations to use as they tend to contain skincare benefits and are targeted for specific skin types. As I am someone who breakouts on a regular basis this foundation works really well for me, it glides onto my skin like a dream and whilst I do always have to powder my foundation it lasts on my skin all throughout the day.

It contains Salicylic Acid to help fight breakouts whilst you are wearing it and I like the medium to full coverage it offers, I can also build it up where I need it. All in all, I really love how this foundation looks and feels on my skin and it's one that I know I always want to have in my makeup bag.

ROEMY No.6: If you follow me on Instagram or read this blog regularly you will already know about my newly found love for fragrance brand ROEMY, I started off by purchasing the Edition 1 Discovery Set and whilst I can honestly and genuinely say that I loved all the fragrances in the set No.6, in particular, spoke to me the most. I am a lover of citrus scents and the citrus in this fragrance really shines.

The thing that struck me the most about this fragrance was that I had never smelt anything like it before and trust me when I say I have tried a lot of scents over the years. It contains tops notes of Grapefruit and Bergamot, middle notes of Rhubarb and Orange Blossom and then bottom notes of Vetiver, Cedar and Australian Sandalwood.

Whilst I can definitely smell the citrus when I first smell this scent, it's the Rhubarb that gives it this almost creamy like scent that gives the fragrance depth whilst rounding it out, it's one of those scents that I personally lean towards as it's one that's not too overpowering and one that I can wear all throughout the year no matter the season.

I really love where the brand is going and how they are presenting themselves, it's also always an honour to be able to support local brands and see them doing so well.
