Whenever I incorporate a new skincare range into my routine the first thing I always trial is the cleanser, cleansers are the easiest thing for me to trial because ill always know from the first couple of uses whether or not I will like the product or not. As soon as I used this cleanser from Skin Virtue I knew I would love it and it has now become a product that I use on a daily basis.
It's a gel-based cleanser that doesn't dry or strip my skin and although cleansers are that product that people tend to mix up the most, I actually like using the same cleansers consecutively. I have found this cleanser, in particular, has really helped to keep my breakouts at bay and my oily combination skin balanced.
It contains a blend of ingredients that contain antioxidant and purifying properties and I can honestly say that it has truly made a huge difference to the overall texture and tone of my skin, as I am someone who wears light make-up on a daily basis it also does a really good job of removing it as well as any built-up sunscreen, dirt and impurities.
Super Clear Clarifying Solution:
I always like to use a toner or mist after I cleanse morning and night as I find it helps my other products to absorb better and also adds an extra layer of hydration to my skin, this one from Skin Virtue has made a great addition to my routine. As I am prone to breakouts it contains a blend of purifying and exfoliating ingredients to help fight breakouts and balance oil production.
I either mist this product straight over my skin after cleansing or I apply it with a cotton pad, it works really well as my daily toner to keep my skin purified and fresh and is especially good after shaving.
I like this product in particular as whilst it has been great at controlling my oil production and calming any of my redness and breakouts it's also been very gentle on my skin, it can be hard to find that balance sometimes and this product has worked really well for my skin.
Super Clear Purifying Crème Gel:
When it comes to my morning skincare routine I always like to include a product with Vitamin C in it, lately, I have been really enjoying this product from Skin Virtue as whilst it contains one of my personal favourite skincare ingredients Vitamin C for its well-known antioxidant and brightening properties, it also contains a blend of ingredients that help target blemishes.
It's a beautiful lightweight gel that absorbs well into my skin and sits well with my other products, I also like knowing that whilst I am getting the benefits of antioxidant protection it's also helping my blemish-prone skin.
Super Clear Essential Cream:
I know I talk about it a lot but I am someone who suffers from breakouts on a regular basis and when it comes to which products and ingredients I use I tend to opt for ones with exfoliating ingredients, I find regular exfoliation has been really beneficial for my skin and over the years it has really helped to keep the overall texture and tone of my skin even and my breakouts at bay.
As I hit thirty towards the end of last year I have made more of an effort to incorporate products with Vitamin A in them, when I first started trialling this product I was really intrigued as whilst it contains Vitamin A it also contains a blend of Lactic Acid and Salicylic Acid that help to gently dissolve away dead skin cells. When it comes to my personal preference of exfoliating ingredients those are two of my favourites and ones that I know work well for my skin.
One of my favourite things about this product is whilst it offers the benefits of Vitamin A alongside the exfoliating ingredients it has been gentle enough for me to use on a consistent basis, It has evened out the texture of my skin and with continued use, it is helping to fight any breakouts I currently have.
As I mentioned above I am just starting to incorporate products with Vitamin A into my routine on a more consistent basis and this product has made a wonderful addition to my routine and one that I will continue to use.
Editors note: When using a product with Vitamin A and or exfoliating ingredients it's always important to wear an SPF on a daily basis to protect your skin, no matter the weather or if you are indoors or outdoors.
