*Go-To Skincare Fancy Face:

I find using a cleansing oil the easiest way to remove my makeup, The latest product I have been trialling [and loving] is the Fancy Face Nourishing Oil Cleanser from Go-To Skincare. I like to apply a couple of pumps of the cleanser to my dry hands and massage onto my dry face, making sure to massage well to remove all my makeup. The product also comes with a muslin cloth [Posh Cloth] that I soak in warm water and then remove the cleanser with, I like doing this regularly as I find it also gives my skin a light exfoliation and a thorough cleanse.

After I rinse this product off my skin feels hydrated and all my makeup, sunscreen and impurities from the day have been whisked away. If my skin is feeling drier than normal I also like using this oil as my main cleanser in the morning as I love the way it makes my skin feel.

Sukin Natural Clearing Facial Wash:

When it comes to my morning cleanse, I like to look for a cleanser that is targeted towards blemish-prone skin. I picked up this cleanser from Sukin on a whim as it was in their Blemish Control Kit and I am so glad I did.

It's a gel cleanser that foams but never leaves my skin feeling dry or uncomfortable, it contains Eucalyptus, Tea Tree and Pomegranate that work together to fight breakouts and calm down any associated redness. I do find using a cleanser with blemish-fighting ingredients helps to keep my skin clear and this one has already become a firm favourite.

Lancer The Method Polish: Normal Combination Skin:

I have been waiting a really long time for this brand to arrive in Australia and was so happy to hear it launched here, One of the products I was most excited about trying was The Method Polish which is one of the brands cult classic products.

I am a huge fan of regular exfoliating with a manual scrub as I know my skin benefits from it, especially before shaving as it's crucial I exfoliate well to prevent ingrown hairs and perfectly prep my skin pre-shave.

After my first use of using this product I instantly knew I loved it, it has a superfine grain to it that gives my skin a really good exfoliation. I tend to use it on dry skin and just add a tiny bit of water and massage it over my entire face and neck, avoiding my eye area.

As this product also contains enzymes [Pumpkin and Pomegranate] I like to leave it on my skin for a couple of minutes to let them get to work before rinsing off.

The thing I love most about this product is the way it makes my skin feel, my skin is immediately smoother and brighter and the effects last for days afterwards.

*D'Lumiere Esthétique AHA 20% Oily Skin Solution:

I talk a lot about regular exfoliation but my skin truly does benefit from it, in my routine I like to mix it up by alternating a physical scrub with a chemical exfoliant to keep my skin in check. The latest product I have been trialling is the AHA 20% Oily Skin Solution from D'Lumiere Esthétique.

I have found it to be really good at keeping the texture and tone of my skin even and my breakouts at bay, it's a lightweight watery lotion that I apply after cleansing as I would a toner. It absorbs well into my skin and I find that it helps the other products I use on top of it absorb better.

*La Mer The Mist:

After I cleanse I like to use a hydrating facial mist like this one from La Mer, I find it adds another layer of hydration to my skin and also preps my skin for the products that follow. This mist contains Marine Botanical Extracts and the brands signature Miracle Broth that work together to keep the skin hydrated and healthy, I can honestly say I notice a difference in my skin whilst using this product.

I especially like to use this mist throughout the day and over makeup to keep it looking fresh.
