If you follow me on Instagram (@theskincareobsessive) you would of seen the post I did on face oils, lately I have been incorporating them into my routine after my serum and before my moisturiser and I have really noticed a change in my skin since using them. The good thing about using a face oil is that even if you have an oilier skin type they actually help to balance out your oil production but still leave you with a lit from within glow.

Here are my top picks:

Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil:
I love using this oil when my skin needs a boost, it also works really well at calming the skin down and reducing redness, whenever I use this product I notice a noticeable difference in my skin the next morning. The first thing you will notice about this oil that it's blue, but don't threat it doesn't show up on the skin and sinks in in no time! I like to use a retinol every night, but especially like using this when I know my skin is abit more on the sensitive side as I know the ingredients will help to reduce any redness or irritation on my skin and it works an absolute treat.

The product contains a Trans-Retinol Ester which helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and skin elasticity, Blue Tansy has anti-inflammatory properties, also works wonders for skin conditions like eczema and dermatitis, German Chamomile helps to calm irritated skin, Avocado Oil works to plump out lines and contains Vitamins B,C,D,E and A (Um, yes please!) it also contains something called Sterolin which has anti-inflammatory properties, Chia Seed Oil contains Omega 3 and Alpha Lipoic Acid which will help in the reduction of fine lines and Cape Chamomile works to control sebum and will encourage the skins healthy inflammatory response.

Aesop Fabulous Face Oil:
I really love Aesop as a brand, this is a product I have been including into my routine quite regularly, I love the glow it gives to the skin and it helps to keep my skins oil production and blemishes at bay. It contains a blend of botanicals that work to detoxify and even out skin tone. I love using this in the morning if I'm just potting around the house or at night right before my moisturiser to give it an extra hit of moisture.

Gentleman's Brand Co Face Oil:
The face oil from Gentleman's Brand Co is a fast absorbing face oil that contains Organic Australian Macadamia Oil and a blend of Organic CO2 Super Fruit Extracts, Raspberry, Promegranate and Sea Buckthorn. Whenever I use this oil my skin feels really hydrated and nourished, it also contains detoxifying benefits. I like using this product at night under my moisturiser for a nourishing skin treat.

Medik8 Glow Oil:
I love this oil! It contains one of my personal favourite skincare ingredients Vitamin C which is a really important anti oxidant as it helps to brighten the skin and also help to protect it from free radicals and environmental damage. The oil contains a combination of Omegas 3 & 6 Oils  and a blend of 12 Essential Oils which will help to protect the skin from environmental damage and with continuous use will work to reduce the visible signs of ageing.

ModelCo Rosehip Luxury Facial Oil:
Now I know I know that I have had particular opinions on rose hip oil in the past but this one has changed my perception on it, it's a really lightweight oil that absorbs almost instantly into the skin giving you a nice glow. Rosehip Oil is a super star anti ageing ingredient which helps to brighten and smooth the complexion. When using this product my skin is hydrated, plumped and dewy. I even like to sometimes mix mine into my cleanser to make it abit more of an oilier consistency.
