BRAND FOCUS: Paula's Choice.

Paula’s Choice Resist Cleanser For Oily Skin.
Cleansing is the most important part in your routine, it’s really important to properly cleanse your face to remove all the makeup, dirt and oil before using any other skincare treatment otherwise the products won’t absorb properly.

Im pretty fussy when it comes to cleansers, they need to be gentle but effective enough to cleanse the skin of all impurities. The resist cleanser for oily skin from Paula’s Choice comes in a convenient pump bottle which I love keeping in the shower for a quick cleanse, it’s a creamy lotion that foams up and leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean without the squeaky clean feeling.

It contains ingredients like ceramics and hylarounic acid which work to hydrate and nourish the skin leaving it smoother and over time will anti age the complexion. The Paula’s choice website says it’s suitable for oily and combination skin types and suitable for blemish prone skin.

Paula’s Choice Salicylic Acid Toner:

Im not gonna lie, I love a good chemical exfoliant and before you think why is he putting acid on his face? Acid is super beneficial for your skin, and it is made for the face after all so it’s not like you need gloves to apply it or end up looking like Samantha from sex and the city.

A chemical exfoliant works to dissolve dead skins cells as opposed to a mechanical scrub which uses beads or grains to manually slough away dead skin. This one from Paula’s Choice is all kinds of amazing, It contains 2% salicylic acid which is the only ingredients that can penetrate the pore and clean it out and is super beneficial for clearing up spots.

It doesn’t have much fragrance to it at all and doesn’t contain the regular nasties you would find in traditional toners like alcohol or menthol that can sometimes irritate the skin. Over time your skin will be less blemished and it will continue to calm down any irritation you may have, the best thing about Paula’s Choice products is that their products are always perfectly p.h balanced.

The Paula’s Choice website recommends that the product is suitable for all skin types but mostly ones with blemishes, blackheads and white heads. They also recommend that people who are allergic to aspirin (acetylsalicylate) should not use salicylic acid products.
Paula’s Choice Resist Super Light Daily Defense SPF 15.

We all know that SPF is super important, especially when you live in a harsh climate like Australia. I think that there has always been a stigma behind SPF as it used to leave a white cast and block pores but now the formulas have come a long way and leave you more with a matte finish and no white cast.

One of my favourites is the Resist Super Light Daily Defense SPF 15 which I use sometimes in place of my moisturiser if I’m just out and about at the shops or writing posts as I feel that’s enough protection for small tasks like that.

It’s a super light formula which doesn’t leave me feeling greasy and contains ingredients that help to reduce brown spots and wrinkles, as a lot of the Paula’s Choice products contain AHA and BHA’s it is super important to wear a sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun and prevent future damage.

Paula’s Choice products are available in Australia from their website http://www.paulaschoice.com.au
